The April 2009 Union Bay Natural Area (UBNA) draft management plan is nearly final as linked on our blogroll: Union Bay Natural Area.
The Yesler Swamp Trail lies on 6 acres University property just east of the Center for Urban Horticulture parking lot and the lagoon as specified as the East Basin Area (G) in the plan and on this map.
There is an Unmanaged Wildlife Area (F) just west of the lagoon that will remain unmanaged, fenced off from human use and an undisturbed sanctuary for wild animals such as coyotes that presently inhabit the area.
